First posting on here..Hello all
by London Underground injust wanted to say a big hello to everyone, my first post on here was actually yesterday but it was deleted.. so will keep this one short to save my precious time just in case its also deleted or lost.. got fed up with years of persecution from within the congregations.
the lack of genuine friendship & lack of 'christian love'.
having personally seen many a scandalous behaviour i began doing some research online some years ago.

This whole story could be summarized by simply saying, I had a huge tumor for years that I thought was beautiful until the doctor told me it was killing me. I had it surgically removed. Problem solved. I am glad you finally cut the cult out of your life.

It's ironic that all the things that most posters on this thread applaud America for, are the very things that are being abused and protested against by the sincerest of players in football. Even the reviling of the President, for their lawfully given right to protest is in honor of those who fought and died to protect such action. Nope, protest is not meant to be popular. They have succeeded and Comrade Trump has been called out on his strongman tactics. Down with the Orange person in the White House. Can't wait to hear either congress or the voters quote him, "You're Fired!"

When they announced I had resigned, "Stepped down" I had a brother ask if he could still talk to me. Such is the power of the platform and announcements. I said, "Of course!"
People were concerned and I think the elders thought it set a bad example for others "reaching out". As if I gave them permission to quit when it became too much for them. Yep, pretty much.

Why the NFL Protest Is a Massive and Insulting Failure
by freemindfade ini think everyone has the freedom to protest, they also have freedom of speech, these are two fundamental things that make america amazing.
but thinking rationally about what is going on with the nfl, therefore, i have an unfavorable opinion of the league, and the players, not their right to free speech, but their motive and execution of it.
constitutional freedom to protest ends at the workplace door too.

If their workplace forbade their actions, then make them stop. If not, and their very bosses sympathize... well, have at it. If I was called an S.O.B for having an opinion by the Criminal in Chief, I would kneel too. What a prick. He's appealing to his beer drinking, hot dog eating, N.A.S.C.A.R worshiping cro-magnon followers. Dipshit Trump seems to agree with Putin on this too, no freedom of speech allowed.

Interestingly they used to ask "what book did you study?". Since the books changed doctrines like a revolving door they often only know what they studied in the book they used. To be instructed any more than that isn't needed for them. They have the basics, 1914, tribulation, Armageddon, new world, Panda time. So I don't think they care if its still the Truth. They have the version of Truth they learned, they are in the club and on the hamster wheel with no time to learn new things or reflect. They don't read the magazines, they nod off during talks and do little service but will defend it to their grave, That's our JW's these days. -

By what authority does the Watchtower declare itself biblical interpreter?
by TTWSYF inwe're god's reliable mouthpiece, but not prophet?
jesus inspected all faiths in 1914?.
does everyone agree or is it more convoluted than that?.

A morose teen named Charlie sought answers for his sadness. He became very influential in gathering other needy people and declared himself Biblical interpreter. When he died his followers couldn't accept the ride was over so they accepted a man who was a taskmaster named Joe. He said he was assuming the mantle of "Charlie" the 7th messenger to the congregations. When he died it was a body of men who took on his work and deferred the biblical interpretation role to one of their number, Freddie Franz. After his death a group of men said they "all" were in the role of biblical interpreter. So today we have deluded men who say they are special. It's kind of like the Catholic "Apostolic Succession" for Popes but in New York State. Isn't that special?

How do the foreign language Congregations find people to call on?
by UnshackleTheChains inok. i had a fascinating conversation with one of my polish colleagues at work.
she knows i'm a jdub and an activist as have filled her in warts and all about watchtower.. she came up to me today explaining how a couple of polish witnesses came to her door.
she was curious as to how they knew to call on her door knowing she was polish.

Simple, when someone finds a foreign language person its turned into the congregation Service Overseer and forwarded to the Circuit Overseer, passed on to people in that territory who speak it and wha-la! Cult invasion.
